AAP manifesto a mere wordplay

AAP manifesto a mere wordplay

Am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for bringing about a countrywide industrial revolution
Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal is an expert in selling dreams. The 21-point manifesto released by AAP for the industry, business and transport sectors in Punjab reeks of buffoonery.  This program is directionless and does not have a clear vision, and instead of providing a boost to the industry, it is set to harm its interests. AAP’s poll manifesto says that that heavy driving licenses will made in every district, colonies will be regularized, etc., oblivious of the fact that all these measures are already in place in Punjab. AAP leaders indulged in blasphemy when they compared their poll manifesto to a religious granth, and the ridiculous promises made in it reflected the intellectual bankruptcy of the party. Neither are the AAP leaders aware of the ground reality in Punjab, nor do they have any fundamental acumen with the help of which they can present a new vision for industrial development.
Actually, this poll manifesto of AAP resembles a document which is prepared by borrowing big concepts from others, but which is impossible to implement on the ground.  For example, AAP has promised 25 lakh jobs for the youth, but hasn’t told how and where they will be provided. In fact, there are only 5 lakh employed people in Punjab. Similarly, they have promised to waive off the debt of farmers and have also promised to give a minimum 50 percent profit on their investment, but they haven’t disclosed where the money will come from. The industrial manifesto is a mere wordplay whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has initiated programs like Startup India and Make in India to bring about an industrial revolution not only in Punjab but throughout the nation.  While, Make in India is being promoted as a big brand on the international stage, the Zero Defect, Zero Effect program has paved new roads for industrial development in the country.  We extend our most sincere gratitude ro PM Modi ji for bringing about a new wave of industrial evolution in Ludhiana.

Vijay Sampla
President, BJP, Punjab
